Surprise Attack

When Miss Taylor told us to find something to blindfold us, hundreds of questions went flying threw my head. When it was morning tea everyone was talking about what this thing could be.

 As I took a huge smell I could smell a tangy smell that's when I immediately wanted to take of my blindfold off . this tangy smell reminded me about a fresh Orange and a tropical island.

As soon as miss Taylor said we could touch the mystery surprise I did that straight away  as I touched the side of it I felt a rough and tough side like a road when I touched the inside I felt a squishy texture . the shape of it felt like a semi circle.

When I tasted the the surprise that's when I knew my stouch would throw up.

This thing tasted like  the most revolting thing I ever tasted . It was sweet then bitter then revolting taste “YUCK” .

About seconds I could hear people yelling, coughing and people reacting to it as I started doing that  I had exactly what it was in my head it had to be i was so excited to see what it was .

After the huge cramoshen  It was finally time we could look as I took my blindfold I was right it was a LEMON. But I would also not eat it again for a long time .

For inquiry this term we have been talking about real life superheroes. We had to choose a superhero that we wanted to research and think of three burning questions to ask about our person. We put our information into a presentation.

Over the past two weeks Room 7 have been learning how to write effective metaphors. A metaphor is a direct comparison to an object/thing.                 

This year in room 7 we have done poems called metaphor poems. We had to describe ourselves as a lolly, tree, vehicle, something in our community, sandwich and a piece of clothing.

I think Mrs may is at the zoo at america getting chased by a lion and a rhino and   the tiger and fox  is giving Mrs may a ride from a fox but she fall of because it was going to fast . so she goes on the lion it is so lazy so Mrs May was ready to get of but it takes of it takes  t to a cave with a waterfall inside she got of and Mrs May said i have to go  but the gates close it's too late she sees a river to get out she got a surfboard but she keeps falling off so she swam out and said I'm not coming to the american zoo again she is coming back to New Zealand  see Lawrence. The end.

  Fire escape                                  I wake up.I hear a boom. I get up. I touch the door. It's hot. I yell fire fire but my  family  does not wake up.  I’m terrified! I go to our safe place.  Bang the wall falls. The fire is ferocious. It's licking the walls. The porch collapses. I call 111. The fire roars at me. Mum comes  out. The firefighters come and we are saved. They put out the fire.
